There are numerous publications and web sites documenting Caramel and Tobacco cards. Few resources are devoted to Baking cards. There are viable reasons for this, including extreme scarcity resulting from most of these Baking issues only being released regionally. This site is intended to be a source of information for Baking cards issued from 1909 to 1915.
It must be emphasized that each of these nine Baking issues is extremely difficult to locate. D304 Brunners Bread arguably is the least scarce of these nine issues. However, even D304 Brunners are very difficult to locate and only occasionally are offered for sale. The majority of these issues are seldom seen in the sportscard marketplace. As a result of this extreme scarcity very little is known regarding several of these Baking issues. The price guides only list figures for cards in PR, GD and VG condition. These figures are intended to correspond with cards encapsulated by SGC or PSA, or raw cards meeting these strict grades as applied by SGC and PSA. Bread cards are seldom seen in VGEX or above. Bread cards found in VGEX and above carry a significant premium over the prices listed on this site.
The scarcity chart and links to price guides have been created by looking at market conditions including cards offered for sale by dealers and auction results taking place over the past few years. The information provided on this page is highly subjective and subject to change as market conditions change. This site is intended to be interactive and evolve in an attempt to stay current.
